Are you ready for some football?! The Redskins are about to kick off the entire NFL season against V-V-V-Vinny and the Jets. I'm pretty pumped; I think the 'Skins can be decent this year if they play up to their potential. They'd better not underestimate the Jets, though. Herm Edwards is a great motivator, and his teams usually respond well to adversity.

To all my fantasy leaguemates, you'd better submit your lineups early if you're planning of starting any Redskins or Jets. Not that many of them read my site, but a couple of them do (Noah and Andrew, I'm looking in your direction).

Could have done it but decided not to because based on last night (and based on Spurrier in general) I don't trust him to stick with one guy. That doesn't bode well for either Trung or Betts. I'd never have picked Trung at that point had it not been for the Wheatley pick.
