Yesterday, I missed an entire day of work due to illness for the first time since I started at my current job.  I had been getting sicker and sicker for a few days, and it all came to a head yesterday.  I took the day off and saw the doctor, got some antibiotics, got an x-ray, scheduled another appointment, and caught up on much-needed sleep.  I went back to work on Wednesday.
