For the record on ND...

For the record, I don't think Charlie Weis should be fired.  I think that according to the precedent set by Notre Dame's firing of Willingham, he should be canned -- but I also think that college coaches should almost always be allowed to finish out their contracts.  Two wrongs don't make a right, and firing Weis now would just be following one unjust firing with another.  

Notre Dame firing Willingham when did was wrong.  But firing Weis now wouldn't make up for it.
