President Ford: One of The Leaders and Best

All I'll add is that Gerald Ford was a Michigan man through and through.  He was an all-star center on two national championship teams and MVP of one team.  More importantly, he is almost without doubt Michigan's most distinguished alum of all time.  Our school of public policy is named after Ford.  Perhaps fittingly, he was also friends with Bo Schembechler, who passed away about a month ago. 



Michigan has lost its two most recognizable faces in history.  From that standpoint, it has been a sad and heavy-hearted year for me and my fellow Wolverines.
