I GOT THE POWER!

The lights are back on!!  I just got home from Carla's and noticed a lot more traffic lights on in Miami Beach.  As I turned onto my street, I saw lights on in my building and almost jumped in my car seat.  I haven't beeen this happy to see lights on in a long, long time.

Today, I spent about 4 hours grilling with the girls upstairs so that I wouldn't lose the 2 month's worth of meat I had bought from Costco two weeks ago.  I guess I wasted my time, because now we've got power again.  Of course, all of them vacated the apartment for the evening -- I just called one of them to let them know we had electricity again.  Oh, happy day!  I already have the day off work tomorrow, but this means I can get some work done a lot easier.  Now I have to go back to Carla's because I had taken a bunch of food over there to store.  Oh well!
