I'm running short on time, so I'll defer to my friend's summary of my visit to New Haven, CT.  It's a little stream-of-consciousness, but the salient events are in there.  I had a fantastic time with her and her crew at Storm King, and I got to see two movies that I should have seen long ago: Heathers and The Graduate.  Good times all around.
