Birthday Resolutions, Phase 1: Find a band.

One of my birthday resolutions was to get back into playing music again.  Considering there's nothing I enjoy more than performing, it's sad that I've let this part of my life remain so derelict in recent years.  My last band was in San Francisco; my last performance was on my birthday, but the one before that was at an open mic in Joburg with Ron.  He is back in Canada playing music in a band that's starting to get some local buzz.  What have I been doing?  Nothing.

Well, this CL posting is my first step towards trying to change that.  I made up my mind as I hit the three decade mark that I would renew my effort to find people to play music with.  So I'm finally taking the plunge.  My next step is to search and respond to posts looking for vocalists (or bass players).
