Alive and Kicking

After an internal debate, I decided to rejoin kickball for my third season..and I'm going to remain on the same team I've been on since I started.  I'm not sure when the season starts, but I'll probably miss some games for playing music.   Will we still be Cobra Kai?  Not sure.  Stay tuned.

I wasn't sure I was up for kickball this time around, given recent events and my renewed pursuit of my musical interests.  The deciding factor for me was that, unlike prior season, every DC Kickball team playing on the same night will go to the same bar for the post game happy hour.  This means more interaction with players outside our conference, and more opportunities to meet new, potentially-cool people.  Sold!  I've made a few friends/acquaintances each season, and I figure that should continue.

My ankle is still a bit temperamental thanks to an injury suffered last season, and I might have to see a doctor about it.  Otherwise, I think I'm in better shape headed into this season than I was headed into the last one.
