Kickball Playoffs Tonight

Tonight after 2 weeks off, the kickball playoffs begin.  Every team makes the playoffs.  Thunderstorms are predicted; if they happen, we won't play.  If they don't, my team (The Freqs, 12th seed) will play the 3rd seeded team in our 16-team division.  We actually lost to these guys 3-1 during our 1-4 start to the season (in fact, that might have been our first game).  We're a very different team now.  Assuming everyone shows up, things might go differently this time around.  We win, we go to the second round.  We lose, and the season is over.

I just realized that I had a friend of mine get me White Stripes tickets for a show two Saturdays from now.  Unfortunately, that's the same night as the kickball end-of-season bash in Adams Morgan.  Damn.  Oh well...the concert is more important, and I might be able to catch the end of the party.  In the meantime, when 6:30 comes tonight, I'll have my game face on.
