Apparently, Maddox
has many of the same reservations about the iPhone that I do. It also cracks me up how much the price has dropped -- whether they want to admit it or not, that wasn't Apple's plan all along. Sales might be slower than expected because the phone is wedded to Cingular...or maybe because people didn't want to pay $600 for a smaller-than-normal iPod with a phone attached to a dynamite screen with no real keyboard.
Bonus: after screwing over the early-adopters by cutting the price a scant 6 weeks after its release, Apple
screwed users again by bundling a software update with a security fix that crippled any iPhone that had been hacked. How very Microsoft of them. Bet you thought Apple was this open-minded, free-ideas company that supported innovation, didn't you? Eh-eh. Same shit, different company.
