Still hard to say goodbye.

My late brother's friends who used to tailgate with him have designed memorial pins that they will sell at UMD tailgates.  They have his name and his year of birth and death in Maryland colors.  They will donate the proceeds to the nonprofit he sponsored, Papashome.  

My reaction to this was emotional.  It makes me happy that my brother's friends were so moved by his passing that they have chosen to remember him this way.  But it also makes me very...emotional.  He was so loved, and only in his passing did we realize that the goodness of his character was by no means a secret.  I know he's gone.  But I wish he wasn't.
