I forgot that two weekends ago was a long weekend, so I decided to take an evening trip up to New York Monday night. As it stands, I probably should have gone to Chicago. Believe it or not, the thing is amazing...and I'm by no means a video-game junkie. The controllers have accelerometers and motion detectors, which make the virtual tennis, home run derby and bowling games a lot more virtual. In fact, I was breaking a sweat during the tennis and home run derby simulations. Now that
Nintendo has joined the companies that create video games that make you sweat, the Wii might be the best thing for video gaming and the obesity crisis since the home version of
Dance Dance Revolution. By the way, it's true:
